Violets ears are pierced!

My peanut just got her ears pierced!!! I was a wreck when it happened:(

We jetted off for our usually end of the week grocery day so we headed to Wally World. I went ahead and did the shopping I needed to do and before we left, We turned around and headed to the jewelry counter. So I went ahead and picked out the earrings and she prepared Violet by cleaning her earlobes and marking where the gone will go. As I held the lady snapped and my peanut was wailling!!! I felt so bad but didn't want her to wait to get it done. I kept kissing her and Scarlett almost cried for her but I kept telling her she was gonna look just like her, her BIG Sister!

All in all she went through and got her ears pierced and she looks amazing!!

Violet's 6 months old!

My peanut just turned 6 months old and I still can't believe how time is flying by sooo fast. I'm already thinking about her 1st birthday, the BIG 1! And the upcoming holidays.

Well, she had her 6 month Dr. visit and she passed with flying colors! She weighs 17.9 lbs (such an eater!) and she is 26 1.4 inches long. She was not happy with her shots but I know and I reassured her that these shots are to fight off the bad germs out there from her little body.

Scarlett was by her sister making sure the Dr. did everything right, she even helped distract Violet while the Dr. examined her. Such the BIG Sister she is!!! As we left she got a sticker and sample toothpaste which she was so thrilled since it had the Disney Princesses on them.

We ten went off to the library for story time..Violet snoozed the entire time and Scarlett was having a blast.

Violet has already rolled to her sides and everywhere else, picks up items, pulls things, and can sit on her own for abit then you see her tumbling forward. She is still cooing and loves mama....she won't really go with anyone. Very attached which is great since i love her warmth right next to me.

A Fun Last Week!!

Last week was packed with fun visits!!! We had a mini playdate at Leslie's, Christine and Sienna were in town so they came over to visit, we then had a baby shower/playdate for Camilla (Christine's newest addition arriving Aug 09!) and we got her the cutest tiara, We also went to The Children's Museum with Christine and Sienna and THAT was alot of fun!!! They had just remodeled it a few months ago and let me say its well worth exploring. So much to see that we didn't get to do it all but we plan to go next time she is in town:) The girls had a great time and so did we:) I think the most fun was seeing a picture box of different kinds of animal feces...honestly I couldn't believe my eyes...there is always something new, lol!!! It was a great week visiting an old friend and seeing the girls hang out.

4th of July!

4th of July was a hot one!!! thank goodness one of our good friends family had a pool to cool us down. Scarlett was so excited to get in the pool and she sure did. She got in with arm floaties and a tire and she stayed like that in the water for a good while. She absolutely loved!!! She kicked her legs, paddled her arms, she floated with her head back (it was cute) and played with everyone. She hated getting out but I made her so she can eat, drink and slather more sunscreen on. She was our little cute tadpole!! We caught her a few times, falling asleep on the tire but she woke once she heard our voices. Violet had a great time time too!!! She got in the water, she enjoyed her 1st real pineapple and mango. As for V and I , we had lots of fun...it was funny coming up with games and pretty much swimming. We called it in early that day, we went to bed by 9 pm!

Violets 1st Baby Food!

Yup, I decided to start on the baby foods already, I still cant believe we are already doing this and she is close to being 5 months old...WAAAAHHHHH! This morning I cleaned off Scarletts old high chair (it brought back memories of her - she said she wanted to sit in it) and had it ready for lunch time. She had booby for breakfast, lunch was booby and prunes and dinner was booby and sweet potatoes. She wasn't to keen about the sweet potatoes but she gave it a few more shots and really enjoyed it at the end:)

Violet also touched her toes on her own on June 17th! We were all enjoying dinner and there she went touching her toes so I rushed to get the camera and I captured it! yeah!

As for Scarlett we are still practicing her letters, numbers, etc but we are working a lot more on opposites and she is enjoying her books from the library. We also have been hitting story time at the library too. My princess!! And on June 6th, we enjoyed a day in the pool and so after nap we promised Scarlett we would get her a snow cone, her 1st. I got her the pink bubblegum flavored snowcone...and I had to get one for Violet (everything I eat goes to her, lol!) a strawberry and boy were they yummy, so yummy!!

Happy Fathers Day!

Today was Violets 1st Fathers day and Scarlett's 3rd Fathers Day and it was a great day for Daddy:) After breakfast this morning Scarlett and Violet made brownies for dad - he loves his chocolate. I got all the ingredients out, placed Violet in her baby coozy and we jumped at it! Scarlett really enjoyed making brownies for her dada and Violet was her Big Sisters supervisor, lol! Then Daddy and Scarlett had breakfast together and then later on that afternoon we had lunch at his dad's. I also called my dad early that morning to wish him a great Fathers Day (wish we were there to be with ya!).

WOW! We had a busy but very FUN weekend!!! Saturday we went to our good friends, The Brown's, new home in Magnolia. We spent the day at the lake, Scarlett had a blast playing in the water and with Chloe, Mikey, Jordan and Kaliegh. They really enjoyed playing with her:) We then headed back to there place for burgers and dogs. It was a fun day and it was so great to finally meet Jewel and Derrick, The Browns twins:) They look happy and very healthy.

Violets 4 month's!

Violet turned 4 months old on May 28th and she is growing like a weed:) We had her 4th month Dr. visit today and everything went well. She weighs 15.7 lbs and she is 24.75 inches long. She is healthy and the Dr told me I can start on cereals and food if I wanted too. But I must start it by 6 months. She did get her shots and she did very well, she cried for just a few seconds but was all well once momma held her tightly. My little peanut, she is growing too fast for me to enjoy:(

She also rolled all the way over on June 1st! so proud of her. She is lifting her head great, trying her hardest to sit up (she so wants too), she is cooing, laughing, smiling, she can follow my voice. And Scarlett my boogie, she has been doing great...still working on the terrible twos but not too bad. She is a great listener, LOVES books - loves going to the library, loves her inflatable pool, loves to dress up..my girly girl:)

Birthdays, Parks and Clays!

Last Monday, May 18th we decided to hit the MJP and let me say it was a great day. The weather was perfect so I decided to pack our lunch and make it a picnic out there after playing at the playground. Scarlett really had a good time and so did Violet. We also enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Clays with some close friends and the kiddos enjoyed feeding the animals and the us moms enjoyed a great chat. On Saturday, May 23rd we went to Sebastians 5th Birthday Party at Plaster House. Scarlett really enjoyed painting her ceramic which was a butterfly. She also enjoyed pizza and cake too. Today, May 26th, Violet rolled all the way over for the first time and she did it again during nap. I still can't believe she hitting some of her milestones pretty early, I'm trying to enjoy every moment with her...my cute peanut:) Times is flying by so fast so I have been busting out the camera and video camera as much as I can :(

Happy Mothers Day!

Mother's Day was on Sunday, May 10th and it was a beautiful day with my girls:) I should have taken it off but hubby is still wobbling so he can't do much still but iyts o.k. mom's work is never done, lol! We started off with breakfast and then Scarlett made mama a cake...she was great in putting all the ingredients and mixing the cake very well. She so loved it!

After cake making we hanged out abit until lunch and that when I made pizzas for everyone...they were yummy! Then the girls and I headed to Katy Mills Mall for some sight seeing and then to Walmart to pick up some BBQ sauce since my hubby was making steaks and ribs for me for dinner.

We then came home for dinner for some yummy food! Scarlett loved T-Bone steak, she kept asking for more meat, it was cute. And then we settled down and watched some tube before putting the girls for bath and bedtime.

Overall it was a fantastic day and I'm so lucky to have 2 amazing, beautiful daughters!

Its been a busy few weeks...

We have been doing quite abit lately...we have been going to the library once a week and Scarlett LOVES going, we usually bring about 8 books back home and read them at least 3x's a day:) We also been doing lots of bubbles, practicing out shapes and numbers through chalk, practicing our tricycle (which she is getting a good hang of it!) and practicing our letters, numbers(movin' up to 20) and lower case letters.

We also went to Forrey's 3rd Birthday Party mid-April and we went to Elodie's 1st Birthday May 8th as well. Scarlett had a great time at both parties:)

Violet has been growing like a weed! She is full of laughter and cuteness:) She did her 1st laugh on May 7th (I was tickling her on her neck and she just started laughing) and she did her 1st roll on May 8th! I'm amazed of her development. We are still continuing to practice our neck muscles and Scarlett and I enjoy reading to her:)

As for Virgil, well, he started walking!! He was given the go ahead May 1st and he has been walking (slowly, its still a work in progress) with a cane and he went to 1 session of physical therapy. He is working on it everyday:)

As for myself, I'm looking for a WAH job so I can bring more income and I'm also been doing some research in opening a business. I won't say what, some know what it is, but I want to make sure I dot my i's and cross my t's before taking on the big adventure. I'm hoping to everything established before the end of this year so wish me luck and I will let ya'll know soon!!

She did her 1st thumb suck on April 22, 2009 and when I saw her do it I was shocked!! I ran and got the camera:) She still loves to nap and she started sleeping on her own..I usually lay her down around 7ish and doesn't wake up until 11ish-midnight for her "snack", lol.

It started off with terrible rains but by the afternoon it was beautiful:) Scarlett was surprised with her easter basket right after breakfast and she loved everything she recieved. She got books, coloring books, a potted plant (she is gonna start growing her very 1st plant), shorts, a dress, a puma outfit and card from grandmama and pawpaw. Violet got a 1st Easter Card and 2 outfits from grandmama and pawpaw. They booth wore there adorable easter outfits...Scarlett just loves her dress.

After nap we headed off to abuelo and grandma's house for an egg hunt. We got there and the girls got there easter baskets from them. They were so cute!! Scarlett got a bubble maker, candy jewelry, a chocolate bunny, a butterly cookie, and 2 marshmellow bunnies. Violet hot a purple bunny and a cute pink onesie. We waited several minutes till the cousins arrived and they were all headed outside for the egg hunt. The kidds had a great time!! They all found the eggs and came inside to open them.

KLP: 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Our Mommy group had there 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at MJP and it was lots of fun! Scarlett fed the ducks and actually started eating the bread, lol:) She also colored an easter bag and got an easter lollipop as well. We then tossed the eggs around the grounds and had them go for it! SHe got lots of eggs in her basket plus she even helped out Raymond by picking up eggs for him too, it was very sweet of her. She then checked out all her goodies from her eggs and right away wanted to eat them but I told he could have 1 piece after lunch. So we took off to the house for lunch. She had a great time plus she got to wear her dress that Grandmama Ana sent to her for easter, she felt so pretty. Violet also had a good time:)

We went early this morning for her 2 month well visit and she is in perfect health:) She is 23 inches long and weighs in at 12 lbs, my little peanut has grown so much. I did address the baby acne she has but the dr. informed me that its normal and will go away. Big Sister Scarlett was with her to make sure she was ok:) She did get numerous shots and shockingly she cried abit but not as much which was unexpected since Scarlett cried like someone took her favorite toy.

Violet is 2 months old!

I can't believe it, time has flown by so quick and it seems I can't cherish her enough. With everything that is going on in our household, it just seems this time around I can't give her the needed attendtion I gave to Scarlett but I'm trying:) She is already trying to lift her head on her own, she coos alot, smiles and she looks at each of us when we talk to her. I'm working more on her neck muscles and her roll over too.

Scarlett has been a big help to her and loves to play with her and help mommy out. She is always saying " sissy cute?", its adorable!

Scarlett's 1st Pedal!

She did her 1st pedal! Uncle John and Auntie Shelley came by before lunch and we were in the garage talking, well...John was helping her with her bike untilshe started pedaling on her own!!! We cheered her on! She definitely has grown since early February. That was when I tried to help her but her legs were not long enough. We are planning to practice so she can get it down.

1 Mommy and 3 babies...

Life definitely threw me a curve ball! Late February my hubby broke his ankle and that definitely added him my 3rd baby, lol!! Yes, I have tacked on daddy duties as well. I'm doing it all for Violet, Scarlett and hubby:) Yes, it has been very trying at times but I'm trying my best to be there for each of them. Thankfully I have a great, helpful daughter by the name of Scarlett, she has helped out so much...I'm sorry princess if I get on to you but just know I love you bunches!!

Violet has just been eating, sleeping and pooping! The life!! She is doing really well and I have actually taken her out quite abit since I'm doing everything. She has been lifting her head which amazes me, we haven't mastered the roll over yet.

Scarlett like I said has been great!! my sweetheart:) We have finished the rest of the ABC'S and so she knows her shapes, colors, and numbers - up to 10. We plan to start working on sounds of the ABC's becuase she has really taken an interest in reading. Let me say we have read THE CAT AND THE HAT quite often. She also has been talking soo much and putting lots of words together! We try our best to watch our mouthes becuase what she picks up. She is also hasn't peed in her diapers during naps/bedtimes, I'm still watching this before I leave her undies on fulltime. I have also been taking her to the park alot, which she LOVES!!! lets her blow off her energy:) She

Hubby, well, I wish I could say he is better but he did get his stitches out and is wearing a space boot, he still can't put pressure for the next 5 weeks so I will continue doing everything on my own:( It'll be awhile till he really is able to walk on it.

As for myself, I'm taking it day by day...I'm happy that my family is healthy and trying there best to help me and my supportive friends that will hear me out:)

Alot has been happening!

Well, let me start saying that its been very busy around the Aguilar household. My mom was down for 3 weeks to help us out and let me say I really appreciate all the help she gave us ezpecially to the girls. Scarlett loved spending time with grandma as well as Violet. Grandma took Scarlett to Chucky Cheese on Feb. 6th and she had a blast!! She also took her to the playground several times and she also had her 1st ice cream with Grandma too. Scarlett also said her 1st badword on Feb. 13th..shit!, she threw a book at V's lap and V said "shit" and she went ahead and micmicked him.

We also wished Grandma a "happy birthday" on Feb. 12th, we ordered from her favorite chinese restaurant and enjoyed dinner at home:) It was grat spending her birthday with us.

As for Violet, on Feb. 5th her stump fell...it was in her pamper, lol! She also went in for her 2 week visit on Feb. 11th. She wieghed in at 7.11 lbs and 20 inches long. The Dr. informed us she is doing very well. She also had to get another heel test which we weren't pleased but she needed it for her health:) She has been eating up a storm and sleeping all the time.

V and I also celebrated Valentines day at Atami and it was very yummy BUT later that eening I started feeling very ill. Days later V and I got so sick as to when we decided to go to the dr. they informed us we had bronchitis!! We have never had that and it was terrible!!! I was terrible, I hate bening sick and I was the worst mommy...once the weather is better, I plan to surprise Scarlett for enduring mommy the monster!!:(

Violet Aguilar has arrived!!

Violet was born today, January 28th at 9:13 AM and she weighed at 6.5 lbs and she is 19.5 inches long at Christus St. Catherine Hospital by Dr. Geoff Zimmerman. She is soo adorable and such a calm little lady:)

We arrived at the hospital yesterday at about 7:30 becuase I was having contractions about every 2-3 minutes at around 5:56 pm. We then called the dr who told us to head to the hospital.

So we headed to Christus St. Catherine (such an awesome hosiptal!!!) and they checked me in I they checked my cervix and said I was already 5 cm dilated so I had to stay:)

Virgil was with me and my mom came a few minutes later since we asked The Smiths (THANK YOU!!!!!) if they could watch Scarlett while my mom was up there:)

I started feeling lots of contractions at about every 3 minutes and they seemed to stretch. I asked V to get the nurse for the epidural..I kept asking and he finally showed up at 10:30ish. He proceeded with the epidural which V asked the dr. f he could see the needle...it was long, lol!! The gave me the epidural and only my right leg was getting numb. I still felt the contractions on my left so I had to lay on my left for them to administer more drug. It worked very quickly. The nurse then checked my cervix and felt that it was 6 cm now. I then felt nothing from the waist down...it was numb and i could wiggle my toes only. It was like this the entire night. They then gave me a yellow purse which was my pee bag since I was not able to get up anymore.

We tried sleeping through the night and at about 8ish in the morning my new nurse checked my cervix and said I was fully dilated. So the nurse called me dr, we then called my inlaws and my mom. I wanted my mom to be in the room since shewas not able to make it to Scarletts.

While they were enroute to the hospital, my dr. arrived and they started preparing and he popped my water bag. My mom arrived in the room at 9ish and everything proceeded very quickly. I did about 10 pushes max and pop, Violet arrived. She cried and I got to hold for a few, then the nursery took her and cleaned up. A few minutes later after the room cleared, my inlaws and Scarlett came in to see her and Scarlett was amazed and gave lots of kisses.

Prenatal Visit: 37 weeks

Yesterday, January 27th I had my 37th week dr. appt. At the appt, we heard Violets heartbeat which was great like always and I was measuring 36 weeks. I also weighed 127 which I lost 2 lbs in 1 week but the nurse said that was normal. Well, my dr. went head and checked my cervix and streatched my membranes and I measure 3.5 cm. We were thrilled becuase we felt it was gonna happen yesterday.

So I got home and my mom and Scarlett headed to KMM, afterwards to Walmart. We came back home for Scarletts nap.

Then V suggested the treadmill so I did that and then I went to finish up a maternity photo shoot with Eliza from Glimpse of Soul Photography - you MUST see her work and book her!! in Old Katy which I did more walking but I had lots of fun!!! Thank you Eliza for a fun shoot!!

This was shot a little after 4 pm, got home at 5 and contractions started kicking in..it was close call:)

9 month mark!

I have hit 37 weeks safe and sound!! yeah!!! No ER visits:) I have been feeling really good with lots of energy...thankfully my family and my home are keeping me super busy because I can't JUST lay around. We have a drs. visit next Tuesday and every week until Violet arrives.

My mom will be coming arriving on Monday night so I hope there are no surprises from today till she arrives. I really want her to be there in the room and see Violet arrive:) And Big sister and dada can't wait to meet her!

Scarlett is in her BIG GIRL Bed!

We are still finalizing her room furniture but her bed was put together and I finally found linens I like for her room. So we decided tonight was the big night for her to start sleeping in her BIG GIRL room. As I was removing her clothing from her orginal room to the other it was sad to see. The room became empty in 5 minutes and it finally sunked in that she will no longer be sleeping in a crib:( She was excited for her BIG GIRL room but once we closed that door and I opened her now empty nursery, I just broke down in tears as I write I 'm tearing up. She is growing up so fast!!! And I don't want her to...it makes me realize she is becoming this beautiful young lady with a mind on of her own. Her room has become this beautiful place for her, just like the princess she is:)

Prenatal visit: 36 weeks

Our visit was good! We heard her heartbeat and she sounds great and I'm currently measuring 35 weeks but the dr. says its o.k. I didn't gain a pound which was odd since I know have been eating up a storm lately, lol! I also was informed I have been having contrations, I asked the dr. what these pains were on my side of the tummy and thats what they were. We asked what we can do to entice delivery since I MUST have this child while my mom is down. I can't wait for her to be here, it'll be here 1st grandchild to see be delivered:)

We also got Scarlett her 1st booster seat and she looked so adorable at the dinner table. Such a BIG Girl!!!

Violet's Baby Shower!

Yesterday, Saturday, January 17th our very close friends threw a coed shower for our upcoming daughter, Violet, who is due February 14th. We HAD LOTS of fun!! Brissa did a great job from decorating, organizing and getting the yummy cake for Violets Shower. We played some fun games, the fellas even played a game which was funny and even the kids had a great time. Food was really yummy but I really enjoyed all the company we had. It was great catching up and having lots of good laughs the entire time with everyone. Thank you Smith's for putting this together for us, like I said before your not just close friends but family and you guys are much appreciated:)

Prenatal 34 week checkup!

It went really well, we heard her heartbeat and its was great. I'm measuring exactly at 34 weeks and I have 1 more 2 week visit and after that I will be seeing the dr. every week until Violet decides to come out. We are just preparing the house for our arrival...cleaning, organizing, rearranging and making sure Scarlett is aware that her sissy is coming soon:) Oh! I weigh 129...not happy about that:(

Our little Picasso...

On Saturday, I let Scarlett watercolor paint for the first and for telling her each day "we will do it tomorrow" (things always came up). She did really well, she loved putting her paintbrush in the water and I'm trying to get her to understand that afterwards you have to dab to dab the paint:) She had lots of fun and she looked so adorbale in her apron and she needs is the french artist hat, lol!

We have been continueing praticing numbers, shapes and colors and she has pretty much has that narrowed down. But practice makes perfect! We have started practicing our letters again and she can go up to the letter L so we are half way threw with the alphabet, YEAH!!

Sunday, January 4, 2009

Scarlett started 2 and 3 word phrases!

She said her first 3 word phrase on Thursday, Jan. 1st and it was "Rodeny at home". He was one of my hubby's closest friends. He was over on New Years Eve and played with Scarlett...helping with fireworks.

She the said her first 4 word phrase today, I was placing the salmon for dinner onto the grill and she told me while she was inside "momma, I see you" I could not believe it:( She is growing up way too fast and its sad to see this right now because I only have a few weeks till her little sister arrives.

I'm looking at her lately and realizing that my baby girl is so precious. My mission until her sissy arrives is to spend as much time with her has possible, doing alot more activities with her since my enjoy is threw the roof right now....WAAAHHH!!

Happy New Year 2009!

We had a fun New Years Eve, several of our closest friends came by to help celebrate 2009! We had lots to eat and of course EVERYONE else had drinks besides me, LOL! But the most important was that Scarlett had a blast and SHE DID!!! She wanted to help out with every firecracker available, she was fearless. She did several poppies and a few sparklers but that was quickly banned when our friends daughter, Sienna, almost caught on fire. We felt so bad but she is a o.k.:)

It was an exciting and funny evening and by 11ish our neighbors popped these amazing firecrackers, it was great to see them that close:)

Of course, V and I gave our midnight kiss and wished great health and happiness for our family in 2009:) Glad to see 08 GONE!!

We wish the same for the rest of our family and friends:)
