Violets 4 month's!

Violet turned 4 months old on May 28th and she is growing like a weed:) We had her 4th month Dr. visit today and everything went well. She weighs 15.7 lbs and she is 24.75 inches long. She is healthy and the Dr told me I can start on cereals and food if I wanted too. But I must start it by 6 months. She did get her shots and she did very well, she cried for just a few seconds but was all well once momma held her tightly. My little peanut, she is growing too fast for me to enjoy:(

She also rolled all the way over on June 1st! so proud of her. She is lifting her head great, trying her hardest to sit up (she so wants too), she is cooing, laughing, smiling, she can follow my voice. And Scarlett my boogie, she has been doing great...still working on the terrible twos but not too bad. She is a great listener, LOVES books - loves going to the library, loves her inflatable pool, loves to dress up..my girly girl:)

Birthdays, Parks and Clays!

Last Monday, May 18th we decided to hit the MJP and let me say it was a great day. The weather was perfect so I decided to pack our lunch and make it a picnic out there after playing at the playground. Scarlett really had a good time and so did Violet. We also enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Clays with some close friends and the kiddos enjoyed feeding the animals and the us moms enjoyed a great chat. On Saturday, May 23rd we went to Sebastians 5th Birthday Party at Plaster House. Scarlett really enjoyed painting her ceramic which was a butterfly. She also enjoyed pizza and cake too. Today, May 26th, Violet rolled all the way over for the first time and she did it again during nap. I still can't believe she hitting some of her milestones pretty early, I'm trying to enjoy every moment with her...my cute peanut:) Times is flying by so fast so I have been busting out the camera and video camera as much as I can :(

Happy Mothers Day!

Mother's Day was on Sunday, May 10th and it was a beautiful day with my girls:) I should have taken it off but hubby is still wobbling so he can't do much still but iyts o.k. mom's work is never done, lol! We started off with breakfast and then Scarlett made mama a cake...she was great in putting all the ingredients and mixing the cake very well. She so loved it!

After cake making we hanged out abit until lunch and that when I made pizzas for everyone...they were yummy! Then the girls and I headed to Katy Mills Mall for some sight seeing and then to Walmart to pick up some BBQ sauce since my hubby was making steaks and ribs for me for dinner.

We then came home for dinner for some yummy food! Scarlett loved T-Bone steak, she kept asking for more meat, it was cute. And then we settled down and watched some tube before putting the girls for bath and bedtime.

Overall it was a fantastic day and I'm so lucky to have 2 amazing, beautiful daughters!

Its been a busy few weeks...

We have been doing quite abit lately...we have been going to the library once a week and Scarlett LOVES going, we usually bring about 8 books back home and read them at least 3x's a day:) We also been doing lots of bubbles, practicing out shapes and numbers through chalk, practicing our tricycle (which she is getting a good hang of it!) and practicing our letters, numbers(movin' up to 20) and lower case letters.

We also went to Forrey's 3rd Birthday Party mid-April and we went to Elodie's 1st Birthday May 8th as well. Scarlett had a great time at both parties:)

Violet has been growing like a weed! She is full of laughter and cuteness:) She did her 1st laugh on May 7th (I was tickling her on her neck and she just started laughing) and she did her 1st roll on May 8th! I'm amazed of her development. We are still continuing to practice our neck muscles and Scarlett and I enjoy reading to her:)

As for Virgil, well, he started walking!! He was given the go ahead May 1st and he has been walking (slowly, its still a work in progress) with a cane and he went to 1 session of physical therapy. He is working on it everyday:)

As for myself, I'm looking for a WAH job so I can bring more income and I'm also been doing some research in opening a business. I won't say what, some know what it is, but I want to make sure I dot my i's and cross my t's before taking on the big adventure. I'm hoping to everything established before the end of this year so wish me luck and I will let ya'll know soon!!
