Merry Christmas!

Its christmas eve and Scarlett had a blast with abuelo and grandma, and her aunts and her cousins:) We spent the evening at my inlaws and let me say I loved there home, its was sooo IN the spirit:) She loved tagging along with abuelo and she made sure he was fed, lol! We had a yummy dinner and afterwards we let the kiddos open there gifts. Scarlett was so excited about opening her gifts..she ripped and tore through the wrappings. She recieved a dollhouse, a baby, cloths, a monkey and dog teddy, a book and an einstein music box. She loved it! And she looked sooo adorable in her dress, like a porcelian doll:)

Christmas Day she opened her gifts from Santa, Grandmama and Papa and Auntie Shannon and she was in heaven. She just ripped into those gifts:) Abuelo and Grandma came by to visit and see what she recieved:)

8th month mark!

I have reached the 8 month mark (32 weeks) yesterday and I'm actually feeling really good:) I'm not able to do much still, I get really tired of walking alot and I'm limited to when I can get out cause I have my daughter to care for (i end up doing 1 errand at night after her bedtime) which limits me. But I'm very grateful I have a very caring hubby that has been helping me a WHOLE LOT- Luv u!!

Our LITTLE PRINCESS is 2!

Our little princess just turned 2 at 5:52 pm today and my hubby and I sat thinking about how the 2 yrs of her life have flown...I really wish we could rewind and go back to the beginning and do it all over again but we can't so we are makeing sure now from when we put her in preschool, which will be in 2 yrs, we cherish every moment with her. Her laughs, her cries, her talks, her dancing and everything about her amazes us and will do so forever. She will always be our little baby!

Today she went for her 2yr check up and she did fantastic!! She weighs at 25lbs and is 32 inches tall. She did all the commands for the dr and she said she is develping very well. We discussed her eating habits and about taking vitamins. She did end up getting her last shot of Hepatitis A and her flu and she cried, my poor baby cried. She kept asking for "momma" and I kept telling her that they are doing this to make sure she doesn't get very sick. We left the drs. and Grandmama called to wish her a Happy Birthday! We then met up with my hubby and my inlaws for lunch at Luby's...and let me say she was hungry!! She had a chocolate milk, macaroni, chicken parmessan, crackers, fruit and some cheesecake. It was funny, she was done with macaroni and she kept asking for somethin near my plate which I couldn't understand and so I finally realized she was asking for macaroni and I was trying so fast to put it on her plate and she shrugged her shoulders with her arms out indicating "momma hurry up!"..its was cute:) We then left and she cried for dada. She had a wonderful birthday...BUT we are not ready for her to be 3..EVER!! lol!

Another ultrasound...

Went in for my 4th ultrasound on Dec. 16th and everything went well. Got the call from my dr. this morning and they said my cervix is 3.3 which is good, no cause for preterm birth..YEAH!! And Violet weighs 4lbs!! So overall she looks wonderful.

Prenatal check up!

Today was my 2 week prenatal checkup and it went well:) FINALLY!! We heard Violets heartbeat and it was great and I'm measuring right at 31 weeks. I'm feeling good but I do get a little tired when I stand too long or walk too long as well. I gained 2 lbs so I'm at 127...not liking it, V was just laughing at me when I was doing some subtracting on our way home:) Scarlett was great , she walks in there owning the place. She is soo cute!!! While I laid for the nurse to measure me she says "Iu" which means "love you", it was adorable!!

Its Party Time! Scarletts 2nd Birthday Party..

was a blast! She had ALOT of fun playing with her cousins (they helped alot) and her friends:) Her grandparents, aunts and our close friends where there also to help celebrate her BIG 2! She bounced, did the rings and bar, jumped in the foam pit and the climbed the great BIG mountian and she had a such a good time. She also ate about 3 pizzas which was a total shock and ate 2 peices of cake WITH frosting! She loved it that cake so much that when I tried to remove it to help clean, she yelled at me. We then went back to the house and a few friends joined us and helped scarlett open her gifts, she was SOOO excited of all her Elmo gifts and the rest of her gifts. She and Sebastian enjoyed playing with the rest of the toys until it was Scarletts bedtime. I can't believe our little girl is about to be 2, she will always be our baby or as daddy would say his "little princess" FOREVER!!

KLP Christmas party!

The KLP's had a christmas party for the group and it was alot of fun!!! We got there and got settled and headed to the bouncies. Scarlett had a blast!!! And she really enjoyed seeing all her friends again..it had been since late Nov. since she had seen them. She was so happy to bounce and she enjoyed the food to, it was very yummy!!! I went for seconds of course. Scarlett also got a goody bag and go to make a craft BUT she wasn't too interested in it. Over all she had lots of fun!!

Dec. 2nd: ultrasound and 2 week visit for Violet

Just wanted to let you know what happened at my appts yesterday with my dr. and the ultrasound. Its great news!! At the ultrasound we got to see her again and she sure looks more and more like Scarlett, we saw every body part and of course V had to ask if we are still having a girl...YES we are, LOL! She also took shots of my cervix which from last Monday has maintained its size, it has not moved:)

Then I was off to my drs. and he said my belly and her heartbeat sound great! He was happy with my cervix but he wants to do another at my next appt. just to be reassured nothing has changed. He also told me to continue "taking it really easy", he did not say BEDREST, which I was happy about. But he did say to refrain from over doing it on household chores and walking (he said walking around the mall is a NO, NO). He said the bleeding was casued by my cervix which is not common but as long as it stabilizes until closer the due date, I shouldn't have another episode. So I was really happy with the visit and happy that V heard it from the dr as well.
