Violets 2 month Well Visit

We went early this morning for her 2 month well visit and she is in perfect health:) She is 23 inches long and weighs in at 12 lbs, my little peanut has grown so much. I did address the baby acne she has but the dr. informed me that its normal and will go away. Big Sister Scarlett was with her to make sure she was ok:) She did get numerous shots and shockingly she cried abit but not as much which was unexpected since Scarlett cried like someone took her favorite toy.

Violet is 2 months old!

I can't believe it, time has flown by so quick and it seems I can't cherish her enough. With everything that is going on in our household, it just seems this time around I can't give her the needed attendtion I gave to Scarlett but I'm trying:) She is already trying to lift her head on her own, she coos alot, smiles and she looks at each of us when we talk to her. I'm working more on her neck muscles and her roll over too.

Scarlett has been a big help to her and loves to play with her and help mommy out. She is always saying " sissy cute?", its adorable!

Scarlett's 1st Pedal!

She did her 1st pedal! Uncle John and Auntie Shelley came by before lunch and we were in the garage talking, well...John was helping her with her bike untilshe started pedaling on her own!!! We cheered her on! She definitely has grown since early February. That was when I tried to help her but her legs were not long enough. We are planning to practice so she can get it down.

1 Mommy and 3 babies...

Life definitely threw me a curve ball! Late February my hubby broke his ankle and that definitely added him my 3rd baby, lol!! Yes, I have tacked on daddy duties as well. I'm doing it all for Violet, Scarlett and hubby:) Yes, it has been very trying at times but I'm trying my best to be there for each of them. Thankfully I have a great, helpful daughter by the name of Scarlett, she has helped out so much...I'm sorry princess if I get on to you but just know I love you bunches!!

Violet has just been eating, sleeping and pooping! The life!! She is doing really well and I have actually taken her out quite abit since I'm doing everything. She has been lifting her head which amazes me, we haven't mastered the roll over yet.

Scarlett like I said has been great!! my sweetheart:) We have finished the rest of the ABC'S and so she knows her shapes, colors, and numbers - up to 10. We plan to start working on sounds of the ABC's becuase she has really taken an interest in reading. Let me say we have read THE CAT AND THE HAT quite often. She also has been talking soo much and putting lots of words together! We try our best to watch our mouthes becuase what she picks up. She is also hasn't peed in her diapers during naps/bedtimes, I'm still watching this before I leave her undies on fulltime. I have also been taking her to the park alot, which she LOVES!!! lets her blow off her energy:) She

Hubby, well, I wish I could say he is better but he did get his stitches out and is wearing a space boot, he still can't put pressure for the next 5 weeks so I will continue doing everything on my own:( It'll be awhile till he really is able to walk on it.

As for myself, I'm taking it day by day...I'm happy that my family is healthy and trying there best to help me and my supportive friends that will hear me out:)

Alot has been happening!

Well, let me start saying that its been very busy around the Aguilar household. My mom was down for 3 weeks to help us out and let me say I really appreciate all the help she gave us ezpecially to the girls. Scarlett loved spending time with grandma as well as Violet. Grandma took Scarlett to Chucky Cheese on Feb. 6th and she had a blast!! She also took her to the playground several times and she also had her 1st ice cream with Grandma too. Scarlett also said her 1st badword on Feb. 13th..shit!, she threw a book at V's lap and V said "shit" and she went ahead and micmicked him.

We also wished Grandma a "happy birthday" on Feb. 12th, we ordered from her favorite chinese restaurant and enjoyed dinner at home:) It was grat spending her birthday with us.

As for Violet, on Feb. 5th her stump fell...it was in her pamper, lol! She also went in for her 2 week visit on Feb. 11th. She wieghed in at 7.11 lbs and 20 inches long. The Dr. informed us she is doing very well. She also had to get another heel test which we weren't pleased but she needed it for her health:) She has been eating up a storm and sleeping all the time.

V and I also celebrated Valentines day at Atami and it was very yummy BUT later that eening I started feeling very ill. Days later V and I got so sick as to when we decided to go to the dr. they informed us we had bronchitis!! We have never had that and it was terrible!!! I was terrible, I hate bening sick and I was the worst mommy...once the weather is better, I plan to surprise Scarlett for enduring mommy the monster!!:(

Violet Aguilar has arrived!!

Violet was born today, January 28th at 9:13 AM and she weighed at 6.5 lbs and she is 19.5 inches long at Christus St. Catherine Hospital by Dr. Geoff Zimmerman. She is soo adorable and such a calm little lady:)

We arrived at the hospital yesterday at about 7:30 becuase I was having contractions about every 2-3 minutes at around 5:56 pm. We then called the dr who told us to head to the hospital.

So we headed to Christus St. Catherine (such an awesome hosiptal!!!) and they checked me in I they checked my cervix and said I was already 5 cm dilated so I had to stay:)

Virgil was with me and my mom came a few minutes later since we asked The Smiths (THANK YOU!!!!!) if they could watch Scarlett while my mom was up there:)

I started feeling lots of contractions at about every 3 minutes and they seemed to stretch. I asked V to get the nurse for the epidural..I kept asking and he finally showed up at 10:30ish. He proceeded with the epidural which V asked the dr. f he could see the needle...it was long, lol!! The gave me the epidural and only my right leg was getting numb. I still felt the contractions on my left so I had to lay on my left for them to administer more drug. It worked very quickly. The nurse then checked my cervix and felt that it was 6 cm now. I then felt nothing from the waist down...it was numb and i could wiggle my toes only. It was like this the entire night. They then gave me a yellow purse which was my pee bag since I was not able to get up anymore.

We tried sleeping through the night and at about 8ish in the morning my new nurse checked my cervix and said I was fully dilated. So the nurse called me dr, we then called my inlaws and my mom. I wanted my mom to be in the room since shewas not able to make it to Scarletts.

While they were enroute to the hospital, my dr. arrived and they started preparing and he popped my water bag. My mom arrived in the room at 9ish and everything proceeded very quickly. I did about 10 pushes max and pop, Violet arrived. She cried and I got to hold for a few, then the nursery took her and cleaned up. A few minutes later after the room cleared, my inlaws and Scarlett came in to see her and Scarlett was amazed and gave lots of kisses.

Prenatal Visit: 37 weeks

Yesterday, January 27th I had my 37th week dr. appt. At the appt, we heard Violets heartbeat which was great like always and I was measuring 36 weeks. I also weighed 127 which I lost 2 lbs in 1 week but the nurse said that was normal. Well, my dr. went head and checked my cervix and streatched my membranes and I measure 3.5 cm. We were thrilled becuase we felt it was gonna happen yesterday.

So I got home and my mom and Scarlett headed to KMM, afterwards to Walmart. We came back home for Scarletts nap.

Then V suggested the treadmill so I did that and then I went to finish up a maternity photo shoot with Eliza from Glimpse of Soul Photography - you MUST see her work and book her!! in Old Katy which I did more walking but I had lots of fun!!! Thank you Eliza for a fun shoot!!

This was shot a little after 4 pm, got home at 5 and contractions started kicking in..it was close call:)

Scarlett is in her BIG GIRL Bed!

We are still finalizing her room furniture but her bed was put together and I finally found linens I like for her room. So we decided tonight was the big night for her to start sleeping in her BIG GIRL room. As I was removing her clothing from her orginal room to the other it was sad to see. The room became empty in 5 minutes and it finally sunked in that she will no longer be sleeping in a crib:( She was excited for her BIG GIRL room but once we closed that door and I opened her now empty nursery, I just broke down in tears as I write I 'm tearing up. She is growing up so fast!!! And I don't want her to...it makes me realize she is becoming this beautiful young lady with a mind on of her own. Her room has become this beautiful place for her, just like the princess she is:)

Prenatal visit: 36 weeks

Our visit was good! We heard her heartbeat and she sounds great and I'm currently measuring 35 weeks but the dr. says its o.k. I didn't gain a pound which was odd since I know have been eating up a storm lately, lol! I also was informed I have been having contrations, I asked the dr. what these pains were on my side of the tummy and thats what they were. We asked what we can do to entice delivery since I MUST have this child while my mom is down. I can't wait for her to be here, it'll be here 1st grandchild to see be delivered:)

We also got Scarlett her 1st booster seat and she looked so adorable at the dinner table. Such a BIG Girl!!!
